Dr. Benjamin Behrendt

Dr. Benjamin Behrendt is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained Functional Neurologist. He holds an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences and has an extensive graduate level educational portfolio. His graduate degree is a Masters of Science in Exercise Science, Health Promotion and Injury Prevention with a subspecialty in Performance Enhancement. As a performance enhancement specialist and trainer/physiologist he has worked with numerous people and teams of varied ages and skill levels; from the beginner to the serious or professional athlete, from grade school, high school, college age and beyond. He has had the privilege of working with professional teams and athletes from the NFL, CFL, AFL, MLB, as well as, other sports up to the Olympic level to ensure optimal performance and return to performance.
Ben continued with his passion for the nervous system and neurology by receiving a Doctorate in Chiropractic and is a Board Certified and Licensed Chiropractor. During this process he continued his learning with post doctoral education in Functional Neurology through Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, and he has worked along side of Professor Carrick through residential Fellowship Training and Education. He continues his post graduate studies in applications to treat Traumatic Brain Injuries and Concussions, Neurological Applications, as well as, Vestibular Rehabilitation.
His post graduate certifications include:
